My Corvette

Welcome to my Vette page! My name is Kelvin and over the last few years I've been gradually increasing the performance of my 1988 Corvette in pursuit of 1/4 mile action. My ride is a 1988 Z51 with the 4+3 Doug Nash tranny. My mods include everything from the TPIS MiniRam to the Jacobs Pro Street ignition.

I had APM Custom Engines build my first motor, they were given a blank check and told that the engine would see some competition. This engine made good power but was plagued with oil leaks. I'm currently building up a Wild 383 to replace it with. The 383 starts life with a 2001 molded 4 bolt main roller block, it has a 4340 forged Eagle crank, H-Beam forged rods, SRP flat top pistons, ARP studs & bolts everywhere. The heads are AFR 210's with additional porting and the cam is a CompCams XR288HR-10. Daves Engine Machining of Fremont CA, known locally for their wizardry with 700HP+ sprint car engines will be doing the Blueprint. And if that's not enough I also have a ATI ProCharger just incase it doesn't scare me.

While you're here be sure to check out some of my other pages and the links they contain. I've recently updated many of them and I hope you'll find them interesting and helpful. Thanks for stopping by!
