the FCC databases read by V1.5 are no longer updated. This has been superceded
by the CDBS databases.
FCC
Database Reader, AM Viewer V2 Beta
Displays all information for all AM station records in FCC CDBS Database including directional antenna pattern plots, computed skywave & groundwave, distance and angle to station, sunrise and sunset, other neat features. Requires Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT, Pentium processor, 20MB of free hard disk space, 800x600 or better display recommended. Self-extracting archive. Extract files to temp directory and run SETUP.EXE from inside Windows.
Dowloaded version has 30-day free trial and is fully functional except for a few nag screens prompting you to register. When you register, you will receive a serial number which will remove the time limit and eliminate the nag screens.
The cost of a single user license is $50.
FCC Database
Reader, FM Viewer V1 Beta - Coming Soon.
Displays all information for all FM and TV station records in FCC CDBS Database including power, HAAT, directional antenna pattern plots (where applicable), distance and angle to station, other neat features. Coverage calculation will be added to future version. Requires Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT, Pentium processor, 20MB of free hard disk space, 640x480 or better display recommended. Self-extracting archive. Extract files to temp directory and run SETUP.EXE from inside Windows.
$30 for new users. Discount pricing TBD for purchase of both AM and FM programs, and for previously-registered users of the AM Viewer.
CDBS File
Converter - Creates AMDATA.DAT from CDBS files - Release date TBD.

WinZip is required to extract archived database files. Free DOS utility is available on FCC site to unzip GZIP Database files.
