organized by the Susquehanna Conference, and co-sponsored
by the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Institute
for Cultural Partnerships, The Pennsylvania Department of
Education, and the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and
Delinquency.
- aMaze - Lesson plans to help
educators explore prejudice and diversity issues.
- One Day - A collaborative
play based on the life experiences of teens and young adults
who have been subject to gender, ethnic, and racial prejudice
and violence. The project, carried out in partnership with
Common Roads (formerly the Bi-Gay-Lesbian Youth Association
of Harrisburg) and with the financial support of the Diana
Princess of Wales Memorial Fund and the Gill Foundation,
has been successfully performed at the Harrisburg YWCA,
the Oyster Mill Playhouse, the Whitaker Center and Open
Stage. The play is now being brought into schools and colleges
in the region through a professional-produced videotape
of the live production.
